that the police department may be taken over by the federal government. the police department is one step from being ran over by the federal government. we are filing a motion. the attorneys are frustrated with the city's lack of progress. there stating that the city fell to put a court order reforms in order. they are not in compliance with the stand-up control and they do now have the correct number of sergeants. they are not in compliance with the. the city had about nine years to do this to identify problem officers. this has been challenging but there is no one here that is ducking from their responsibilities. the chief and the mayor they all want to get it done but at the end of the day they have not got it done. the judge could make a decision on this request or they can be delayed to a different time. >> to people murdered in san jose just after 8:00 p.m. last night. the police was called to downtown and officers went to a home where a man was shot and killed. a friend of the victims said that the shooters were gang members. all i was doing was enjoying my birthday can some guys came b
